About me
What I love!
Family: I have a very big family and I love them. We are loud, fun, and always on the look out for each other. In the picture below you see my step dad Matt and Mom Lisa, On my mom’s back is my little brother Alexander, then myself and my boyfriend David and in front are Tami my best friend/sister in law (yes my brother married my best friend) and my older brother Dana. Also included in this awesome family are the dogs Maxx the boxer (my dog) the very rambunctious white lab puppy in Mandy (Dana and Tami’s dog). This is just my immediate family I have many aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents that i also adore and who mostly live in Vermont where I am from so unfortunately I don’t get to see them very often. However when we do get together it always proves to be a great time filled with card games, laughter and usually margaritas! The next picture you see is off my little brother Alex and I. Alex is the apple of my eye. I love that little guy like he was my own son. It is so hard to be away from him when I am at school because i feel like I am missing my chance to watch him grow up so when I go home we always have Sissy and Alex time.
My Boyfriend David: My boyfriend David and I have been dating for 7 years he is my best friend and I love him more than anything else in this world. He is my strength and what keeps my going through all the hard times. Knowing that soon I will be living with him and not be 5 hours away is what is going to keep me pushing through block II. He is in the process of saving for a ring and we are tentatively planning a wedding for next September and I can’t think of anything else that would make me happier. I am so excited to start the next chapter of my life with him by my side.
Friends: I have amazingly fun friends both in Boone and in Wilmington. We are always looking for new adventures whether its a new place to hike, swim, or tube we are always down for something new. Britney my roommate and I met freshman year in the dorms. ASU picked us to live together and we have lived together ever since. Kassy, Adrianna, and Emily are some of my other Boone girlfriends I hang out with a lot along with many other of our crazy guy friends that make my life more interesting by the day.
Cooking/food in general:
I have always loved to bake since I was very young messily measuring sugar or flour in my mom or grandma’s kitchen. Every year my mom, sister, and I would make Christmas cookies, candies, and chocolates and pass them out to friends and family. Since I have been living on my own I have also developed a love of cooking too. My roommate Britney and I are always concocting some delicious new meal for us and our friends. But mainly I just love good food, fresh produce, and herbs only make things better and of course the more chocolate the better as well.
I also love the outdoors mountains, beach, or anywhere in between including activities like hiking, climbing, hammocking, tubing, snowboarding and just sitting in the sun.
I love Love Love sunflowers!

Hi Ashley,
Your poem gave me a pure and innocent sense telling me that you are a nice and neat kind of person and always ahead of the game. That’s wonderful about you and I really enjoyed your poem.
